A passion for change
The Liz Quackenbush Foundation was created to continue to celebrate the life and educational mission held by Liz Quackenbush. Liz is remembered as a valued and loved member of the educational staff both at the Alternative Learning Center in Rochester, MN and New Harmony High School in New Orleans, LA.
Liz was a founder of the Green Thumb Initiative at the Rochester Alternative Learning Center (ALC), the work she began continues there today. Liz fought tirelessly for her students and helped to support opportunities that may not be available to at risk students. The work under the Liz Quackenbush Foundation will continue to benefit these students in positive ways.
Though Liz's life was taken much too quickly, the Liz Quackenbush Foundation continues to hold a firm belief in the values Liz put forward and will continue to support those into future generations of students and educators.
